Meet the Second ‘Micro’ installment of my Miniature Worlds Collection. This is the very first 1×1.5 inch gesso board to be born within my work, and most certainly made a strong impact for such a small frame. This is by far my favorite in proportion as far as my more “micro” sized paintings and the added texture to the surface of the board itself allows light to ricochet off the intricate golden details in the way it deserves. Between its depth of color and foliage with its perfectly pocket-sized canvas, this world will happily wait on my shelves as one of my favorite children. Until it meets the person meant to keep it most, it waits patiently now in my shop with it’s sibling worlds.
