Micro #21 (1x1)
Meet the Twenty-first “Micro” installment of my Miniature Worlds Collection. This tiny gilded gem is another 1x1 inch ampersand board landscape built with the shine of metallic heavy body acrylic paints. Formed with a violet-based foundation, this little land was one of those classic cases where the piece unintentionally morphs in your hands as you work. I originally planned for a much bolder and more violet world, similar to its siblings, but quickly fell in love with the forest’s soft golds and delicate bronzes. The two layers of meticulously applied varnish keeps this mesmerizing little world perfectly sealed in a touchable, professional gloss. If you are the heart that feels the pull of these trees as I do, then your piece of calm waits patiently for you here, in my shop.
