Meet the Ninth installment of my “Micro” paintings within my Miniature Worlds Collection. This tiny realm weighs in at single 1×1 square inch of smooth claybord built with my signature grayscale heavy body acrylics paints and something a little different- ink. This painting marks the first of my “Micro” worlds to wield the delicate markings of the finest Micron pens to lace its intricate branches with the distant fog. Inspired heavily by her miniature predecessors 1.1 and 1.2- I knew it was only a matter of time before more worlds were born from their beginning. The wait for this world’s home was over before it began. She already sits at home with her destined owner, and her original siblings, but her photos remain behind in her memory.
